Meet Christina Michelle
The visionary behind The V-Spot
It started with steam.
For as long as I can remember, my period came with excruciating cramps—the kind that shot down my legs and made me feel like someone was squeezing my insides for revenge.
I tried the usual remedies, but eventually found myself looking for something natural. That's when I discovered vaginal steaming.
There was only one problem: I couldn't find anyone offering it in Juneau, or even Alaska. So, in true Christina DIY fashion, I ordered the herbs and tried it myself.
What began as curiosity became ritual.
Steaming gave me something I hadn't realized I was missing: intentional time with my body. Time to get quiet. Time to notice. Time to care for myself without needing to accomplish anything.
I wanted other women to have access to that kind of space, so I pursued formal training in vaginal steaming and began offering sessions to friends and family at a local yoga studio.
Eventually, those sessions grew into The V-Spot.
But something else happened along the way.
I thought women would come for the steam. They came carrying stories.
Stories about their bodies. Relationships. Motherhood. Menopause. Confidence. Sexuality. Trauma. Reinvention. And sometimes simply the exhaustion that comes from spending so much time taking care of everyone else.
I realized what I was creating wasn't only a place to steam.
It was a place for women to return to themselves.
That realization eventually led me deeper into hypnosis, transformational work, women's circles and intentionally curated experiences—all of which now have a home at The V-Spot.
Today, whether you're here to steam, explore what's beneath the surface, gather with other women or simply exhale for a while, my hope is the same:
That you leave with a little more of yourself than you came in with.

Founder, The V-Spot
Vaginal steaming is not a new wellness trend. Women across cultures have used herbs, warmth and steam as part of feminine care traditions for generations.
At The V-Spot, we honor the women, traditional healers, midwives and grandmothers who carried feminine wellness knowledge forward, including practices that survived colonization, racism and the devaluing of women's traditional ways of caring for their bodies.
We also honor Anarcha, Lucy and Betsey—three of the enslaved Black women subjected to repeated experimental gynecological surgeries by J. Marion Sims in the 1840s. Their bodies and suffering contributed to medical techniques that advanced the field for which Sims would later be celebrated, while their own names and contributions were largely left out of the story.
At The V-Spot, we choose to remember them differently: as foremothers of modern gynecology, whose names deserve to be spoken.
Anarcha. Lucy. Betsey. And the women whose names history did not preserve.

TRAINING + APPROACH
The woo has training behind it.
My work blends intuition, ritual and connection with formal training in the modalities I facilitate. I've pursued specialized education in vaginal steaming, clinical hypnotherapy, Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and facilitated women's circles so that the experiences I create aren't just beautiful—they're intentional.
